When you cancel your subscription, access to the app pauses and your organization's data — customers, rentals, payments, contracts, and documents — is retained for 90 days. During that window you can renew your subscription to regain full access instantly, with nothing lost. Data export is only available while your subscription is active or trialing — export what you need before cancelling.
You can also request immediate, permanent deletion at any point during the retention window from the cancellation screen. Once the 90-day window lapses (or you request immediate deletion), all organization-scoped rows are permanently deleted from our database in dependency order, and any associated files (contracts, photos, insurance documents) are removed from storage. This is irreversible.

This applies only to audit/activity logs, never to your core operational records (customers, rentals, payments, contracts, documents), which are kept for as long as your subscription is active.
Database backups used for disaster recovery follow the underlying infrastructure provider's standard retention window and are not directly accessible to operators; they are not a substitute for your own exports.
